TRAVEL ITALY

Destination Travel & Events Inc. and Dancers Travel International

Italy Dancers Travel Programs will feed your exploring wanderlust as you say, “Ciao, Italy” to the locals of Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Tuscany, Naples, Pompeii, and other cultural-packed Italian dance destinations.

From Rome, through Venice, your dance family group will delight in delectable Italian cuisines and share the historical wonders of ancient ruins, singing gondoliers, artwork created by Master painters, historical opera houses, dolomites, alpine meadows, quaint seaside villages on the Riviera, bustling city centers, beaches, and more!

Build a Custom Itinerary

Venice

Your custom-curated journey includes the romantic medieval island city of Venice, where you can travel the Grand Canal by gondola on your way to the world-famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica. Dine on freshly-caught seafood, cheesy baked pasta dishes, Italian bread just out of the oven, thick expresso, bussolai, or hand-crafted cannoli for dessert. There’s a reason Italian cuisine is world-famous, and you’ll be a true connoisseur of Italian food after your Travel Italy tour! Take a sunset stroll over the Rialto Bridge to walk off your Italian feast, or visit the gothic Doge’s Palace to marvel at the magnificent architecture and works of art by Titian, Veronese, Tintoretto, Vittoria, and other renowned art Masters.

Florence

See Michelangelo’s David, Brunelleschi’s 15th Century Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Uffizi Gallery, and dozens of Renaissance wonders in Florence—one of the world’s most culturally-historical cities. Walk the Medieval stone bridge of Ponte Vecchio as you window shop for hand-crafted jewelry. See the statue of Cosimo Medici, and make a wish at the Fountain of Neptune in the Piazza del Duomo. Walk through the Boboli Gardens, or indulge in Italy’s finest gelato from one of the many outdoor vendors at the Piazzale Michelangelo square.

Pisa

You’ll be grateful for your strong dancer’s legs and perfect balance as you climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa! After you’ve climbed the tower and taken the obligatory lopsided travel photography images to share with your envious friends on social media, your dancer family group can discover the secrets of pizza-making from one of Pisa’s top pizza chefs!

Rome

Explore nine miles of galleries filled with some of the world’s most treasured art, including the Sistine Chapel, in the Vatican museums. Visit the 2000-year-old Colosseum, where you can hear all about the gladiator battles that were once popular with the crowds of 50,000 that thrilled to their gore.

Learn on Location

This Italian learn-on-location experience includes classes with some of Italy’s finest dance professionals and performing opportunities in front of an international audience.
