Arriving in Rome

Flew into Rome Airport today. The airport FCO Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport. Flight with Air Transat was great! Staff friendly, just great customer service all the way!
Once you land - proceed to the customs hall, where you will need to go thru passport control. Then on to retrieve your bags. You may have to pack a little patience as you wait for yours to show up on the carousel. Once you have your luggage you will make your way to the exit, once thru the automatic doors, you will be met with a barrage of transfer services, all holding signs with the name of their client. Had to walk up and down until I found mine :)
Just a little suggestion, pick up an extra bottle of water before you board your flight (for example Toronto) keep that bottle for your arrival( For example Rome) Summer travel can be hot, humid and stuffy! You will welcome the refreshing taste of water, even if it isn't cold.
Travelling can be a lot of hurry up and wait. Remeber to travel with extra snacks and anything that adds to your comfort while you "hurry up and wait"
Closing up the "office" here in Rome and about to hit the streets, check out the neighbourhood and grab some delish Italian food!
