To browse or not to browse
To browse or not to browse that is the question......
If your destination is within driving distance but requires an over night stay along the way, you may want to look at driving to your destination.
It seems simple to pack your car, gas up and to head out. Having a driving partner can ease any fatigue and possibly allow for fewer rest stops. I would recommend of course that you over night half way along your journey, to give yourself a fresh restart to your trip the next morning.
Should you choose to fly to your destination you will need to set time aside to browse the internet locating the flight times, connections and of course price. Or you can simply call your travel agent. Your travel agent can quickly search your travel requests and typically provide you with an itinerary and quote within a few minutes.
If you do decide to look for that perfect flight remember waiting to purchase can often result in loosing out on your preferred date and time and possibly loosing out on a great deal!
Before you head to your computer or mobile device to find your flight, have a really good idea of the date of travel, preferred travel times. and whether you want one, two or no connections.
Having this information handy before you start your search can help cut down on your browsing and narrow your search.
Once you do find the perfect flight, review all of the terms and conditions, especially cancellation policies. Check to see if you are paying in a currency other than your own and understand the baggage allowances and any fees associated with checked bags. Before making your on line purchase, review every detail to be sure you are getting exactly what you want. I can't tell you how many times someone has called me because they made a mistake and didn't want the red eye, or didn't notice that they have 3 lay overs.....and the list goes on!
I hope this few tips have helped. Wishing you safe travels whereever you
